A collaboration of coast and countryside organisations on The Lizard Peninsula

Volunteers have helped to uncover these buildings which include a number of pillboxes and the tantalizingly named 'Battle HQ'. A new trail will be created to take in all these interesting features, starting from the windmill viewing platform. The Wild Lizard Education Ranger, Claire Scott, will be working will local school children on this project and events will be held this summer to launch the new platform. A special thank you must go to Cait Hutchings who started this project in memory of her husband Stuart who was the Trust Ranger for many years. Without Cait this project would never have happened and the rejuvenated windmill is a fitting tribute to Stuart who loved Windmill Farm and the Lizard.
